This is a Walking City Tour through the historic area of São Luís (Cultural Heritage of Mankind). São Luis was built on the bay of São Marcos, a sort of peninsula formed by the estuaries of rivers Anil and Bacanga.
The approach (for the tour) is based on the history of São Luis, a city that was founded by the French, invaded by the Dutch and transformed into poetry by the Portuguese. The city, recognized by the UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity, holds the largest collection of Portuguese tiles in Latin America.

- pants or bermudas in synthetic material (supplex or tac-tel)
- short sleeve dry shirt made with material that allows quick drying and good ventilation
- sun blocker (at least SPF 30) - essential
