This is a city sightseeing tour by car, along the coastline of São Luis and to its historic centre (Cultural Heritage of Mankind). A well-informed guide will accompany the participants.
São Louis was founded by the French, invaded by the Dutch and transformed into poetry by the Portuguese. The city recognized by the UNESCO as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity holds the largest collection of Portuguese tiles in Latin America. São Luis was built on the bay of San Marcos, a sort of peninsula formed by the estuaries of rivers Anil and Bacanga.

Participant guidelines
Participants are advised to wear:
- Pants or bermudas in synthetic material (supplex or tac-tel).
- Short sleeve shirt made with material that allows quick drying and good ventilation.
- Sun blocker (at least SPF 30) - essential.
- Sun glasses - essential.
