Portas da Amazônia (Doors of the Amazon) is a combination of São Luís, reflecting the rustic aspects, heat and history. The pousada was restored with the original structures and was decorated using materials and vegetation of the region including: liana, rattan, bamboo, straw and stones which enrich the environment of the inn providing a relaxing setting and unforgettable experience. The great stone walls and internal garden were added during the restoration.
